About 

Jon Mycroft is a short story writer from Leamington Spa. He won the Alistair Wisker Short Story Award three years in a row, has been published in a number of anthologies and literary magazines, and has had his poetry featured on a bus. He holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham in creative writing and short story pedagogy.

Jon has taught creative writing at Ruskin College Oxford, the University of Birmingham, and the University of Warwick. These days, he’s a lecturer at Royal Holloway, University of London, where his academic interests include short fiction, post-war dystopian fiction, the history of games, modernist art, and digital philosophies.

​

In 2016, he founded Milverton Writers, an international group of poets and fiction writers.
